Barbuda heaven

We collected Grandad from the airport (in a dinghy!) and sailed to Barbuda. If beaches are your thing then this island is the most stunning place on the planet. 16km of uninterrupted white sand and aquamarine sea.

I have run out of adjectives to do the colours justice but let me say it’s breathtaking.

We enjoyed the beaches, lobster bbq’s and the boys did some surfing too.

  1. Hi to you all, Wow, what a beautiful, idyllic place Barbuda is. You’re certainly in a great spot at the moment avoiding, storms, wind, rain, coronovirus etc. Everyone is feeling a little despondent with what’s happening in our lives at present. Lovely to have Mac with you, bet the boys are happy to see him. Is he sailing with you for a while? Gather you have someone else joining you for the Pacific. When are you hoping to start the Pacific crossing? Well what’s new here? Wendy has moved into Shipston, Henry, her son & family have moved next door. Their other neighbours, the Palmer-Stevens have just put their house on the market for £695,000! Nicki Coupland also has her house on the market for around £900,000. Nick Ward has been constructing a serious shed for us in the back garden, Richards man shed! Kate & John have just returned from a fab 7 weeks travelling around Mexico, their daughters been there working for 9m, she’s coming back to UK in June. Janet W has become a granny! Everything is much the same with the older residents of the village. It’s great to read your blogs/posts & dream! Have fun & stay safe Love Colette xx

We plan to leave for Panama on the 10th March stopping at Bonaire and San Blas Islands on the way, then it’s the canal and off to Galapagos 😀⛵️👍
